Or should we say Hurrrrr Galleria? The new local beauty superstore hired Megan Thee Stallion hairstylist/ShadeRoom fan-fave Jonathan Wright to hawk their “42 flavors of bootylicious hurrr” prior to their grand opening in May and through whatever mystical algorithmic alchemy, our social media feeds would not stop serving it up. We were lulled into a trance by Jonathan’s delightful accent (both “hair” and “here” pronounced “hurr”) and the cadence of exhortations like “Stop goin’ to that girl who sell you that bullshit hurr!” and “Why y’all walking ’round lookin booboo?” We’re not sure how he filmed these spots considering he’s apparently been incarcerated since March, but we never question a blessing. What’s better than getting a new piercing? Listening to heavenly piano melodies before, during and after said piercing. Nothing tops the vibes at this studio. 3784 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, goldentarotinkclub.com

A three-hour workout compressed down to 20 minutes? It sounds crazy, and perhaps it is, but in a good way. Bodystreet Winter Park is an EMS studio. (That’s “Electro Muscle Stimulation,” for those not in the know.) Founded 20 years ago in Germany, the boutique gym straps you up in a bodysuit of sorts and provides you a trainer to maximize your workout. Efficient and electrifying. 947 N. Orange Ave., Winter Park, bodystreet.us

Turns out you can have a gay little mullet with Type 4 hair. Running her own LGBTQ+, Black-owned business, Julez understands the vision and executes it perfectly every time. 30 W. Grant St., instagram.com/divinecurlz.co

You’re stressed. Everything is awful. You’re grasping for a sense of control and you see the shears. “Maybe I’ll do bangs,” you think, “just to feel something.” Before you do anything drastic, pay a professional to get that perfect blowout and style. Blo Dry Bar Orlando doesn’t cut; they wash and style, keeping your hair healthy and your spirits a little higher. 329 N. Magnolia Ave., blomedry.com/orlando-fl
